Colonels 2008 Season comes to a close

All Colonels, the regular season has finally come to a close. I want to thank all who made it through this season.

The 18+ had a fine year and only come up one game short of their league championship. I want to say thanks to Darren for all his hard work, and all the players for a fine season.

The 25+ were really a new team this year I want to say how proud I am of all of you and really excited to see you all back next season. Joe did an outstanding job being a first year manager and putting together the foundation for the next year.

The 38+, I'm not going to candy coat it, very disappointed. I felt we would be in contention for the league, but instead thanks to our end of season implosion, we finished 5th out of 6 teams. Been looking in several dictionary's and can't find where   TEAM  is spelled with an I in it.

"...nor will any man ever live who shall possess from Louisville the honor of having the last major-league game played on the home grounds." - Reporter A.H. Tarvin
